Re: Danny Ings
the only thing that has been a success for Ings is his hair transplant, which we have funded.

I suspect whether we think it will work or not, expect Ings to feature because we could be light in this department for the next little while. I hope he can chip in with a goal or two but im not holding my breath!!!

Re: Danny Ings
did anyone actually think ings would be this shit , i was actually quite hopeful id seen him a few times for villa as well and he looked lively, i wouldn't put the blame on anyone we needed someone quickly and suited to the league , its failed miserably but lets fuck him off and move on cant get them all right

Re: Danny Ings
Ings was a Sullivan signing as a “gift” to Moyes. There’s a quote of him saying so.

So whilst that poisonous little toad is in charge this sort of thing will still happen.

Why do you think he wants investors to basically give him the money and not get control? So he can do this more.

Re: Danny Ings
Nobody is going to pay him the money we’re giving him, which means he’s going no where unless we pay his contract up!

Another in a long line of failed striker signings. Law of averages means we must get a good one soon.

Coincidentally isn’t this the anniversary of a 17 yr old Tony Cottee making his debut and scoring in a 3-0 home win against Spurs.

He was a proper striker!

Hopefully Danny Ings is the last in a long line of washed up striker signings now that they get evaluated by Steidten...

"Bald headed. cart horse" ag, ag!

As others say, not his fault. He's ready for pasture in the lower leagues now.

Samson lost his strength after his hair was cut.

Ings has lost his since growing a new barnet...

Re: Danny Ings
The club are at fault for Ings contract not him personally. Ings did not force us into the deal.

Decent Barnet these days I thought. But yeah, his career can resurge like his hairline lsewhere

Re: Danny Ings
Sincerely hope we flush this turd away in January, I've actually started to resent and take a big dislike to him (not that it will bother him) but please get this old, bald headed carthorse OUT of the football club even if it means taking a hit.

Re: Danny Ings
i doubt Ings will be on his way moyes see's more value in this has been getting minutes ahead of Cornet or Mubama let alone a better option or proactive management in ayouth player.
it's why he'll keep Cresswell too.

Waste of time even discussing this. Got to get rid in this window, take the loss.

Maybe that's what has slowed him down!

There has been a resurgence in his hair though.

Think Ings will be on his way in January.

Re: Danny Ings
Coffee - If you look at his stats they aren't that prolific. 38 goals in 122 appearances for Burnley, 3 in 14 for Liverpool, 41 in a loan and permanent spell of 91 appearances, which isn't bad, for Southampton and 2 in 27 for us.

Yep.

Or the kind of player you'd sign when relegation is probable.

Re: Danny Ings
Ings reminds me of the last season of Kevin Nolan when the legs have gone and you are ineffective as a player.

Sir Alf 12:41 Thu Dec 28
Re: Danny Ings
If it was Moyes that wanted him then I suppose the upside is that Sullivan will defer to Steidten every time now on transfers in.

Disaster of a signing. Emery didn’t want him and he was not getting minutes. Did anyone go watch the bloke even on videos of games he did play in at Villa ? He was struggling the previous season but I guess it’s classic of old school managers like Moyes that look at the past goals record and the reputation and ignore the form and age and attributes ( slow striker, plays in a pair, likes to poach a goal etc).

Maybe it was a Sullivan signing ? He’s signed 50 failures but if it was Moyes like I say, at least it proves what we know. Don’t trust him with transfers. Steidten getting Alvarez and Kudus has arguably saved Moyes from the sack already. Hopefully Steidten Dan get some more gems in to mask Moyes limitations as a manager.
